Colección: Miguel de la Espriella (Noble) Q.E.P.D

Miguel was born in 1947 in Sucre, Colombia. A visual artist with a career spanning more than three decades, he has developed a distinctive practice centered on abstraction, memory, and the expressive power of color.

His work draws deeply from childhood experiences and the rural landscapes of his early life. References to the countryside, insects, and fragments of memory appear throughout his compositions, becoming recurring elements within a highly personal visual language.

One of the defining characteristics of his practice is his exploration of dark whites, a chromatic approach that adds depth, contrast, and atmosphere to his work while challenging conventional perceptions of light and color.

Throughout his career, Miguel has continuously experimented with different techniques, including oil, watercolor, and acrylic, using each medium as a way to expand his expressive possibilities.

His work reflects a constant search for innovation and personal expression, transforming memory and nature into abstract compositions that balance emotion, texture, and color.
