SHIPPING & HANDLING POLICY

1. ORDER PROCESSING & CUSTOM CRATING At Humgrarte, the safe transit of your artwork is our highest priority. Original artworks, especially large-scale canvases and sculptures, require specialized handling.

Please allow 7 to 15 business days for order processing, custom crating (building custom wooden crates for safe transport), and preparation of export and authenticity documents before your artwork is dispatched.

2. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & TRANSIT TIMES We ship globally from our gallery in Bogotá, Colombia, partnering exclusively with specialized fine art couriers and premier international carriers (e.g., FedEx, DHL).

Once your artwork is dispatched, typical international transit times to the United States and Europe range from 5 to 10 business days.

You will receive an email notification with tracking information as soon as your artwork leaves our facility.

3. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND IMPORT TAXES All international shipments are sent on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that the buyer is the Importer of Record.

The buyer is strictly responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees applied by the destination country. These fees are not included in the artwork's price or the shipping cost calculated at checkout. Customs clearance processes may occasionally cause delays beyond our estimated delivery times.

4. DELIVERY AND SIGNATURE REQUIREMENTS Due to the high value of our collections, a direct signature is strictly required upon delivery. * We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

The courier will make multiple attempts to deliver the artwork. If you are unavailable, it is your responsibility to coordinate directly with the carrier to schedule a delivery window or pick up the crate at a secure facility.

5. INSURANCE AND TRANSIT LIABILITY Every artwork shipped by Humgrarte is fully insured during transit against total loss or damage.

Upon arrival, you must thoroughly inspect the crate/packaging before signing for the delivery.

If there is visible damage to the exterior packaging, you must note it with the courier at the time of signature and immediately follow our Claims Policy. Failure to report damage within 48 hours of delivery will void the transit insurance.

6. SHIPPING COSTS Shipping costs for international orders are calculated at checkout based on the artwork's dimensions, weight (including crating), and the destination address. For select featured artworks, Humgrarte may offer complimentary international shipping, which will be explicitly stated on the artwork's page.
